Poetry Test

Anything we have studied over the past few weeks is fair game for the test...like:
-The basic qualifications of poetry (form, rhythm, meaning, etc.)
-Lyric, narrative, and dramatic poetry
- Sonnet, haiku, tanka, ballad, free verse
-Sound devices
-Literary Devices: metaphor, simile, personification, allusion, imagery. etc
-All poems in the packet

Poemagery poster is due on Tuesday (9/11) at the start of class. I will not print the poster for you. Period.

Tuesday 9/4: Read poems on pages 4 and 9 looking for metaphor, simile, and personification.
Wednesday 9/5: Read poem on page 8 looking for allusions.
